The balista are made out of cardboard and toothpicks. The bow part was made out of a bendy straw.I made working wheels by placing a straw underneath to run the axle through. Attachments:

The setup. My group likes to kick in doors and charge in guns blazing. This was kind of a Butch and Sundance moment Attachments:

I made them Arcane. So my players (Mages) had a chance to battle wills for control. They won, after sustaining some major DMG. They where sure to return the favor Attachments:

I have to agree with hideousprime on this one. You truly could play this game without a single piece of anything physical. You could honestly play a D&D game via talking on the phone, lol. But for me, and most of us forum members, it's not just a game, it's a hobby. We basically build dollhouses... Really cool dollhouses! I've been known to stories via email/face book. I present a situation and let the next person continue it. Like a story pass. Usually you just present a few rules. Like not killing another's main char with out permission unless your the head story teller and some one did something above and beyond craptastic

Lol I'm Still trying to figure out how I want to do/make bases. Some choices are cardboard, buy them (Nah), Dowl Rod, Plywood, Washers.....Any suggestions? Better yet any pictures on how the rest of you do bases and flocking?

Did you use something special for the acid pit or is it just paint? Printed paper in a sleeve. I made the sleeve smaller but with this method you can take out the paper ad replace it with water, print out a black one for a pit or paint it, Ice like the other room ect.

Room 5 4/4 Last photo for a bit. My players really did crap them selves when their lil goblins saw the dragon.....they definitely weren't thinking about the grid lol. Hope you all enjoy and let me know what you think. I cheated on the Ice and Slime I just printed them out and slid them into sleeves to give them a wet look and to make them interchangeable with other liquids. Love multitaskers saves work down the road Attachments:
