I'm in the process of making a second tier for my gaming table. The table it's self is 8' long and 4' wide covered with plexi glass. The add on tier will be a 6' long by just over 2' wide. It will sit 6 to 8 inches over the actual table so the players can still use their books yet see the terrain. I plan to take various terrain felts placed over plywood or cardboard that will me custom fit to the new table and easy to change out. So you can play with the grided plexi on which you can draw or you can play on the felt with DMscotty style or any combo of the two. The nice thing about plexiglass is yo can place poster maps from module under it and draw on them with dry erase markers. Which is awesome for those days I don't have time to make new tiles. It's all about the contingency plans. lol

Just remember you cant please everyone all the time. They're trapped in their gridded cells and when offered the key to freedom they scoff for enslavement is all they have known and like so many....fear change.

I have had excellent results ordering direct from reaper. At five to seven bucks a model, it is pretty expensive that way. I have also had games where we used the kids' Lego guys. As for me, I only have two or three of my reaper guys left, so I'm thinking I'll try making some guys in fimo. I am working on a 12 inch guy in paper mache, but that is just too big to make a dungeon for. Of course my fimo guys are going to be kind of cartoony, but there is no helping that. Not at my untried skill level anyway. Check out reapers Bones line up. Aside from second hand the cheapest minis i've come across

Thanks for the encouraging words. The dragon in the pics is from the 2005 Todd McFarlane series of dragon miniatures. I really like the way they look and the wings are posable so you can make them look pretty menacing. McFarlane had some amazing Dragons. I use them myself as well.
