Giving continuity to the model! To apply the texture to the model, I used a spray bottle with glue diluted in water! It is very important to apply a layer of glue diluted with water to spray apply the sand at the points where you want more or less texture, then the covering part with another layer of glue diluted with water to set the sand. (Textured paint can also be used, but it is a very large model, and piles of rubble be more natural with sand.) Sand has applied with glue! The sand did not loose after receiving an extra layer of glue with water. More details with sand. O modelo com a tinta base para o pincel seco. Miniatures for comparison! Later i bring the painted model.

First, I would like to apologize for doing so many posts in a short time. I am on holiday of the work and the faculty, and would like to take the time. This new model on which I am working, was inspired by films such as The Mummy (Boris Karloff 1932) and the following trilogy The Mummy 1999/2012. It was recently launched in Brazil Savage Worlds RPG, and I found it perfect for adaptation. The story will be passed during the 30s, and I had never seen a Pyramid Dungeon! :-) The same model can be used for games like Call of Cthulhu or Al-Qadim, and or anyone with Egyptian theme. For this model I used: Styrofoam: 5cm and 2cm Styrofoam cutter Latex paint Pigment for latex paint Brushes Soldering iron (not sure how is called in english). The entire model was sculpted in styrofoam cutter styrofoam and soldering iron. The piece with the angled cut I then carved the stone blocks with the soldering iron. * * * this is the end result of all carved out and the rooms inside!

"I suggest making one out of cardboard first and use those pieces as templates for a wooden one."
Hey DMBrad, good suggestion! :-)
In Brazil we have a thick cardboard, very heavy called Parana(not sure what the english name) might work without wood!
Liked it! I'll try to make one and post the photos.

The idea of the floors is nice, and the pieces of furniture were good, so we have more pieces of the forum?

Hello all ! I'm new here, and found the forum through the DM'S Craft channel on Youtube. Thanks for sharing these fantastic ideas and work! I would like to submit a dungeon i built recently for the classic Villhage of Hommlet. The video link is unfortunately in Portuguese, but I promise to do a sub. in English (although my English is not good!) Thanks and God bless you all! To run this model I used styrofoam, styrofoam cutter, latex paint, pigment, plaster, styrofoam glue and brushes. To make the texture destroyed at the top, i used sand and glue diluted with water, to apply it, i used a spray bottle (watch the video). :-) The link: saiadamasmorra.blogspot.com.br/2013/02/como-fazer-sua-dungeon-para-rpg-e.htmlThank you! :-)
