Hello everyone. I've been lurking around here awhile and watching DM Scotty's videos, crafting, etc... and this seems like a great community.
Recently, though, I've found myself in dire straits. I created a playable race that has six arms, assuming that I could easily find a mini for it if someone decided to play one. A player did, but contrary to my expectations, the best I can find is a Marilith. The Marilith poses a problem because first, it's large (although I could attempt rebasing it). Second, and most importantly, it has a snake body instead of legs.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could find or easily craft/modify a mini that fits the bill (the character is female)? I can paint and have some crafting experience, but I haven't sculpted anything yet, except from caulk.

You might have some difficulty cramming six proportionately sized arms onto the torso, but I would start with a plastic mini that you like then find two more. Dismantle two of them and add the arms to the keeper. Use green-stuff and super glue to attach and hide the seams then repaint.

What belatucadras says may be your only option.

Hmm.... If it was an undead monster I'd suggest these: link
It would be difficult to add flesh to these via clay or greenstuff or miliput, but it might be worth trying if you really need to? Or you could pick up on of the new Reaper Bones Mariliths and cut her off at the waist and reattach her to another minis legs? link
Another option might be a Girallon mini (although they only have 4 arms) link

Or maybe a Draegloth? (Although again, only 4 arms) Anyhow, I hope this helps in some way! Good luck!

I believe I'm going to try to do the Marilith with another mini's legs. Thank you all for your suggestions!

I took a Marilith-like Mage Knight mini, cut off the arms from two of the same mini, and glued them onto the third figure I had (used contact cement), to make a 6-armed Marilith figure, though only Human sized. I would suggest getting some inexpensive MK figures of the proper type (if you can find a suitable figure, buy three copies of it), cut off the arms from two of the figures, and glue them onto the third, whole specimen. MK figures come in a wide variety, so hopefully you can find a suitable figure, and then score three of them, off of e-Bay for little money. Cheers!
