Hey crafters, I had seen people make initiative cards but I never used them because I have the Paizo magnetic tracker board and I have one of the players track initiative. it hasn't worked well because I still end up calling out the initiative. I figured that the cards would help with everyone knowing the initiative and free me up from having to call it out. Attachments:

I made the cards double sided in Photoshop, printed them on a B&W laser printer, used spray adhesive to glue them to cardstock, washed them with several shades of brown craft paint, and splattered them with blood red paint. I also added fun sayings to the bottoms of the cards. Attachments:

This is way better than my handwritten numbers n folded 3x5 cards.

We have been using the magnetic board, I assigned the task to one of the players who loves that kind of thing. But the "most fun" crafty thing I did with initiative was back when the majority of my group played magic the gathering. I took pictures of all the player's and proxied them onto a magic template and printed them out on sticker paper and then applied them to cards. We simply put our cards into order per encounter and read off whose turn it was that way.

I really like this! What an amazing concept. My group uses official mini sheets, and just sorts them in the initiative order, but this is very creative.
