some people may not know some tricks about miniature landscapes...so I thought i might help a bit. (HILLS)Use any type of foam that you can find, use big and bulky pieces. Then brake off parts of the big pieces of the foam to form mountains and hills...SAVE THE SCRAPS!!they can be broken down smaller to make rocks. Next, hot glue the pieces in place. You can optionally use a small lighter to melt the foam to give it a roundish/corrosion effect. Once that's complete then paint it to look natural. I recommend painting its in earthly order. For example (first to last paint order) stone, gravel/clay, dirt/sand, grass. don't base coats them because one paint will mask another. from there you should have a basic landscape to your tabletop game. Photo may come shortly. HAPPY CRAFTING!!

you probably should not glue the hills down so you can move it around or change look.

Or you could glue it to a cardboard base for stability, while still being able to move it (kinda like a based mini).
You could also add extra effects to the cardboard base.

And remember, when using heat on plastics which may result in vapours, always work in a well ventilated area.
