Hey DM's, ya know those boxes dice come in... Whenever you or your players get some dice steal their boxes...why you ask?...You can use them as flying stands for your airborne creatures! You can even have different height levels by connecting boxes together. Both clear boxes will fit on a box base and so on. Now go forth and dive bomb those PCs! Now say it with me, "Gridless is the bestest!"

Wow, cool idea! I have been saving my 1 box knowing 'there has to be something I can do with this...'.

I'd call each one about 10 feet worth of distance...maybe 15. makes it a little awkward when you don't want to be quite that high up, but obviously you could fudge it a little.

Sadly the dice I have bought only come in flimsy plastic tubes. I did go out on Google and try to find a company or site that sold the plastic/acrylic boxes in a 1" by 3" or a 1" x 2" size with no luck. Closest thing I found that might work are the small round jewelry tins that can be screwed together and stacked. Those would work but are not ideal as you lose the clear area beneath them. Of course there are companies that sell "flying bases", but most places that list them are "out of stock". If anyone knows of any place to find the ones like the dice boxes above and could post a link it would be great. Here's the link to the round stackable ones I came across: www.etsy.com/listing/59273827/25-in-1-stackable-storage-jars-in?ref=shop_home_active
