Thought I'd pop this here for anyone to talk about what glue they use. I haven't got a glue gun yet so I'm using cheap stick glue at the moment, you get two large and two small for £1 here in the UK, which is about $1.60, definitely does the job of holding foamcore (which I'm using for the walls) to the cardboard.

Cool, I didn't think a glue stick would be strong enough...hows the holding power?

Great, in fact I think the top part of the wall would rip off leaving the base stuck to the tile if I tried to pull it off! Definitely worth giving it a try as it works pretty well, I do need a glue gun though for all the embellishments you can create with it.

Very true, the glue gun is good for gluing as well as adding texture.

Tacky glue is good for gluing as well and It dries just as quick as the glue gun. I do like my glue gun better for texture though.

hot glue bonds well to a variety of surfaces, unlike some glues.

True, that's why I need it to glue the edges to doors.
