This is a magic circle I made for a friend's (also the DM of the game I'm a PC in) birthday. It's chipboard, not that expensive on Amazon, on foamcore. first I drew a grid on it (yes, I am a primitive. I use a grid) then drew the two circles and the runes. I then saturated the chipboard in dilute white glue and let it harden. After it was dry I use a metal ruler and a craft knife to cut out the grid. I cut at an angle on both sides of the line inward and scraped out the center. A little irregularity actually adds to the effect. I then carved out the runes with an exacto knife. After that I used one of these www.amazon.com/Ultrafine-Applicator-Bottle-0-5-Ounce-Bottle/dp/B000WWM6R6/ref=pd_sim_hg_10I laid a line of white glue around the circles 3 times (drying in between) making raised line I then based in black and painted just like I looks.

I like this quite a bit. IT is simple and effective in it's role.
Well done.

Where is the bloody corpse? There should ALWAYS be a corpse on an alter in a magic circle! Very nice tile and alter... I really need to start crafting more items.
