At the Dollar Tree last week getting a few supplies, I ran across these guys. What might become of this synthetic beauty and beast in such a place as this? I'll leave it to your imagination for now because I'm interested in hearing other ideas for the pieces. But I'll update later to show you what I'm working on with them.

I turned two of the hulk figures into a hill giant and fire giant. Hulk makes a great base for the bulkier giants. Might be able to turn him into a large flesh golem as well.
The bride might make a decent female genie since they are large creatures around the same size as giants. I could see it becoming a Djinni with a little work. Slice it in half at the waste and make the iconic Genie swirl in place of the dress, maybe add a vail to it.

I thought I may have remembered someone on here using the Hulk for something. Looked up your thread so it could be linked here: www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/3504/latest/03504EDIT: Damn, just noticed that was a link to a reaper figure for one of my players. Here's the Hill Giant link: dmscraft.freeforums.net/thread/970/hill-giant?page=1&scrollTo=8708

Vamdomar's love for the paladin Elaina knew no bounds. As the orcs of the Stonemarch unleashed death and misery on the Abbey, Vandomar used his powerful arcana to keep safe the beautiful and brave Elaina. But even his magic was no match for the terror that befell Gardmore, and unwilling to heed his desperate pleas for her to remain in the safety of his tower, Elaina met her death in the besieged streets of the once pristine abbey. Vandomar could not accept her loss, dragging the tattered body inside in a desperate attempt to reanimate his soul mate. He would go to horrifying links to bring her back, and when the passion of the lover had finally cooled sufficiently for him to realize he had lost her, the obsession of the collector insisted on one last attempt at preservation. Even when the results were clear--an unnatural and nightmarish flesh golem--the wizard could still not give up his souvenir, encasing himself and all his sordid collection within the confines of his tower. He had to be choosey as to what he could keep... I used some Testors Contour Putty to fill in the gaps and sprayed on a coat of primer. Elaina's face was preserved remarkably well on the head of the flesh golem. I didn't want to repaint the face, especially sense it didn't have any sculpted detailed, so I attached it after priming. And then I got carried away with the contour putty... Is all that putty just going to fall off, do you think? I probably should have got some green stuff or modelling paste for this.

Depends on the material of the original Hulk model it's attaching too....It might be ok once its painted and clear coat sealed.....Great job with the sculpting. That's one area where I always struggle. I'm getting ready to do a Dragonborn conversion for one of my players and I know I'm gonna have to do a bit of green stuff work and it scares me to death....

Thanks! Hopefully it will all stay on at least long enough for it to get played. It seems pretty secure though, so I'm optimistic. The sculpting was honestly kinda crude. The putty came out of the tube in long strands, and a toothpick did the rest.
Now I need advice on how to paint this thing. I was thinking a fairly light flesh color, with some brown, maybe even green washes to get a dying flesh look for the body. I will probably paint the sculpted areas to look like infected, unhealed wombs. Should I just paint these areas black and add shades of red (and maybe some yellow), or paint them red, wash with black, then highlight with lighter reds? Or I am completely lost? Any advice is much appreciated.

Some cool painting could bring this monstrosity to life.

Picked up some Valejo paints today, so should have this little project finished this weekend. I could really use some advice on painting it though, if anyone has any insights.

Vallejo paints are really great. I would suggest a wash of either brown or black once you've finished the general painting. It makes a world of difference.

I think this is about as good as I can get it, except for the base, which I'll finish later. I have a lot to learn about mini painting, and in hindsight, I should have just bought the Bones flesh golem and put a female face on it. I'm not even sure flesh golems look like this, was just basing it off Wizards description (sort of) and the Savage World's mini. Anyway, I haven't put the matte finish on it yet, so if there's anything that really needs cleaned up, let me know. Like I said, still learning to paint, so any criticism is very much appreciated.

Thanks Skunkape! Close up, you can see that the paint job is quite a mess, but I like the way it looks on the table. The cartoon look of the doll face is kinda creepy to me.

This would be even more disturbing if the face was turned into a mortuary mask. As if Vamdomar's obsessionnal attempts ruined the corpse so much that the face had to be hidden away and replaced with a memento of her former beauty.

Man, that's a good idea. It would have been fun having the PCs find it in a chest after the encounter.
