I'm not overtly versed with Star Trek I think you named every race I know from their canon I do think you could cut very tiny pieces of pipe cleaners off and base them as Tribbles Trouble with tribbles!

I was thinking that for the space combat system, each officer (PC) would roll for a different thing (enginering speed, science shield/defense, tactical weapons/attack pilot dodge/agility/athletics) to include all off the PCs in combat.

Pre-made bases especially flying bases can be pretty pricey (like $5 + another $8 shipping for 5 bases) I tend to use round woodies painted black for people & monsters ... But for flying base I like to buy a pack of those two piece plastic champagne glasses from a party store the translucent base & fluted neck is great for gluing on flying minis (can't find the two piece ones a good pair of snips will cleanly cut the single piece plastic cups) There is a whole thread somewhere on the forum about what people do for flying bases one I've seen a lot recently is a cardboard, metal washer, or wooden base with a glue stick melted on both ends vertically one end on the base the other on the mini respectively. I was thinking of doing a bendable wire stand for more manuvaribility

Holy crap was just on www.trollandtoad.com & said what the hell I'll type in Star Trek in the miniatures section and BLAM! Star Trek tactics heroclix came up both crew minis and ships each ship will be about the size of a d&d mini but if you do the starship battles on a separate star field then the planets side & ship interior encounters it shouldn't make a difference anyway. Just re-base the minis. Hope this makes up for the other idea I posted. ;3 Ill look into it.

www.startrek-starships.com/usa/index.asp they have scale models of various Trekkie ships they don't really mention the scale unless you're a member so good luck ... Sorry I can't help more I'm a Browncoat myself & we got lucky even though the show may have been canceled we got a movie & a TTRPG out of it. (And Nathan Fillion is awesome as Castle ;p) Thanks for the idea, but I just want to buy them, not wait 18 months for a borg cube.

I am starting a Science Fiction (Star Trek more specifically) Campaign with a few of my Trekkie Friends. I want some suggestions on how to make tiles, damage effects, even where to get nice minis. I would also like to get nice minis or models for ships that are more maneuverable to simulate space combat (Perhaps with wire stands like in some WWI/WWII Fighter Games?) I would appreciate any suggestions!

When you name the most uses for empty cardboard boxes on your recycling test at school. When you hang out with the janitor just to get all of those empty cardboard treasures!

I would really like it if you taught us how to make furniture! I have learned most of my techniques from your videos, and most tutorials I've personally found on making furniture are A. To expensive or B. Over-Complicated!
