Hello,
how is everyone doing? Lately I've been working hard on building some terrain pieces for my PC's as they venture though an underground fortress I've set up for them. The fortress will take them through several strange areas and force them to encounter many strange people. The one person I'm looking forward to playing against them however is my mad scientist Odranic(made that off the top of my head just now what do you think?).
Odranic is the head scientist to the mad king of Kalindos in my campaign who after being driven mad by dark powers gave his throne to his daughter and grandson so he could scour the world becoming more powerful with the use of dark portals that his grandfather discovered during a war he began.
Odranic's job for the mad king is to study these portals, find their uses, find more and if needed make more but on the side Odranic has been working on his own agenda which would be creating very nasty creatures like brain washed humans that literally don't care if you cut off a limb and even nastier ooze monsters who's main attack is an acid spray that hits for 2d6 and does an extra 1d4 every round until washed off or the combat ends.
The end of the first part of my game culminates with a (hopefully) epic battle in Odranic's lair where they fight not only Odranic himself but also his nasty minions of ooze, here are the beginnings to the evil master mind's lair, I hope you enjoy .
The tile is 12in x 12in with a chunk of foam acting as an upper part of his lair. In this unpainted stage you can see the bridge over Odranic's acid pits that the players will enter on. In the acid pits are heads, rib cages and yes even a leg sticking up. I used pieces from the Warhammer game.
I also made this tasty part using the same warhammer pieces.
while waiting for the tile to dry from being primed I added some Spackle to the foam piece after trimming the sides and edges to make it more stone like. The spackle will add texture to the piece and again make it more stone like. I use this idea in a lot of my pieces which I'll hopefully get posting soon so you all can check them out .
For now though since -everything- is drying I have to wait to share more with you I hope this inspired a few ideas for you!
(also if someone could please tell me how to increase picture size that would be awesome thanks )
