Very nice work! I just finished a batch of them myself. Need to order some of the spearmen next. A few pics of mine: I also picked up this baddy off of ebay. I can't wait to see the faces of my players when I plop him down on the table. Brown pants moment for sure, hehe: I just love Glabrezu's, probably my favorite Tanna'ri.

I love Reaper's Bones! Wanted a Kobold army, for decades, for my BattleSystem Skirmish games, for an Underdark campaign (Gnomes vs. Kobolds, in large caverns, plus other battles in the ground), but never pulled the trigger... Until I saw the Bones Kobolds: 6 figures for $3! Picked up 10 packs. Now I just need to finish painting them (50% complete).
Saw the Bones Skeletons -- couldn't resist, so inexpensive, so much fun to paint, so quick to paint! You can never have too many skeletons, IMO. Cheers!

And what's really cool about the Reaper kobolds is that they are the OLD SCHOOL KOBOLDS! Don't get me wrong, I like the new look of D&D Kobolds, but as a player of 1st and 2nd edition I will never forget my first encounter with those "tiny, dog faced, horned, reptilian humanoids". The Reaper sculpts, as well as Otherworld Miniatures sculpts, of Kobolds bring back that awesome feel of nostalgia. And as I see more of the Otherworld sculpts I am finding their niche is that old school feel. Google them and check out their glabrezu, duergar, drow, hobgoblins, kobolds and their 2nd ed Players Handbook cover Demon/Devil statue! Truly epic!

I'm painting my way through two boxes of Ghouls.. 40 in total, quite an intimidating sight on the table top. I also picked up a fancy new glue gun which works really well, and I have a ton of double ply card board stockpiled for the start of my big modular project... I foresee many slices of fingers and gluegun burns in my future!

Finally got moved and unpacked my KS Bones yesterday. Two hundred and sixty-five, by my (probably inaccurate) count. There are about thirty off to the right due to lack of space on my desk (the ones that came linked together, goblins and kobolds and rats and such, and a few of the big multi-part ones, demons and dragons).

I seriously get pissed every time I see the KS set, because I somehow didn't hear about this last year when they were doing it....At least we can get most of them through Reaper's website now, but those of you who got their's via the kick starter should be arrested because at the prices they went for you basically stole them....

The downside to the Reaper Bones KS, is that supporters wound up with many, many figures they didn't want/couldn't use, and they are flooding e-Bay with them. That is why I abstained -- that and I am working to reduce, and eventually eliminate, my unpainted pile of mini's. I am making progress, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and the KS would have buried me... I recently purchased a couple of the Bones Dragon models. I plan on doing a comparison of the Safari Ltd, Schleich, and Papo Dragon 'toys', compared to miniature model dragons, with regards to how they differ in size, cost, quality, and painting. I will refrain from passing judgement, leaving that to viewers for their own games to decide. There are marked differences, and I think a lot of people will be surprised, if they have never considered the 'toys'... Cheers!

The only minis I don't want are the sci-fi ones - but heck, I'll still throw them in a box, and if I ever play a sci-fi RPG, I'll dig 'em out and paint them.
Or I could always chop 'em up and use 'em for gelatinous cubes/dismembered corpses/Chinese buffet.

Has anyone tried to convert the Bones products? I need a 2 headed troll but money is very tight so was going toget 2 bones trolls and splice the torso's channeling my inner Frankenstein. I'm just wondering what the polymer is like to work with?

I've only cut off the pre-molded bases off of some, so far... I am certainly going to try and do some customizing on some of the ones I have. As far as cutting the bases off goes, it has worked well, easy to cut, a bit harder to sand or file but it is possible. I prefer plastic and/or resin if I am doing customizing work, as they are by far the easiest. I'd rank "Bonesium" as they call it in the middle so far....though hat may change as I play around with it more...

I was watching the conversations on the Bones 2 Kickstarter forum and many people were saying making conversions was easier with Bones. Easier to cut and malleable enough to coax into shape.

It does cut quite nicely, and retains the shape without deformation. I'm really impressed with the polymer that Reaper is using for these.
