Besides being hung at the town gates for being a grid worshiper... you could also use it for Warhammer Quest, only the greatest RPG ever to go grid! GamesWorkshop, bring back WHQ. I will buy from you again! Do it. Do it now!

I love Games Workshops products, but I have one problem with them....They are so damned expensive. If I sat damn and totaled up what I have spent on my 40k armies over the past half decade I'd probably die from shock. I can recall a specific day where I dropped nearly $900.00 on GW product to get an army off the ground. In one day!!! *facepalm* What was I thinking? I'm lucky the wife didn't kill me....
As an aside, onne the Reaper Bones go live (the newest ones) later this month (I hope)... I'll likely be on the wifes K.O.S.(kill on sight) list. I will likely be spending so much on new minis that I will need to be put in protective custody, lol....

Someone on here uses Lego minis for character. I will be running a Shadowrun game soon and that has inspired me to use everything Lego for a Shadowrun campaign. Terrain, characters, vehicles, everything. With all the sets from prehistoric through medieval through modern and space, I think it will be awesome. My wife and kids think I have fused my synapses.

Legos is a dream I once shared with you my friend. Then I discovered the price for even used mixed lots on Ebay. Given the thousands of bricks that go into the awesome Rivendell or Isenguard models you see online.

I think the tile is bad-ass. it doesn't look like a board game or something... It looks like fun. I hope it isn't too brittle. Storage concerns me for the crafts I am currently scheming.

I agree. The rock border is pretty nifty.

So your $900 in circa 2000 AD would have cost me USD$900= about 450 pounds at the time = R4,500 and then triple... so that's R13,500. No consider my annual wage at the time was about R35,000... I actually sold my small Space Wolf army to a local gamer and made enough money to pay for my flights to Australia... so GW stuff was UBER expensive.

Nice tile! Really like the rock borders. Have you guys seen any of the 3d builds of WHQ tiles? There are several really good builds if you google it.
On a side note, I just discovered Kings of War, split the undead v. orcs battleset with a friend, so finally gonna try out a war game. Really nice minis for a fraction of the price. We'll probably end up using warhammer rules, but I just can't afford GW stuff. Too bad really, 'cause I really love their wood elf army.

Rock borders always look amazing to me. When I finally get to making some cave tiles, I'm definitely going to explore that route. But I'm curious what you do to define a grid in your tiles? I can't tell if those are square tile pieces that you glued in an array or if you cut the tiles.
I will admit it, ....I am a gridder. But I'm interested in looking at interesting ways to create grids on tiles be it just Sharpy marks or some other construction.
