I've been working on a set of tiles that is very easy for me to use when working with a random dungeon (I'm under the assumption that my players will leave the area I have so painstakingly created and wander to find some dungeon I will generate then and there), so the rooms have no walls and are fairly bland. However, I've been working on making little details so that the rooms can be interesting when they get into them. In time, I plan on adding some interesting textures to the floors, but they'll still be modular, and thus, not as interesting as I would like.
This is why I want to make lots of little items for the rooms. Yes, the fires and columns will used over and over, but their placement and how many there are should be different and more interesting to look at. Even so, I can't figure out how to make tables, chairs, and bookcases in a more time efficient manner than I've been going at the doors and braizers. Any suggestions?
