I don't usually make inside stuff but, years ago around 1990, I made these so I could build up internal levels in dungeon rooms when using standard Games Workshop D&D floorplans. They're still going strong 22 years later. As you can see, they're just balsa wood blocks cut to size and painted. They're easy to deploy and allow you to make all kinds of plinths, walkways, raised levels and stairways. There's a fuller explanation and more pics here: www.matakishi.com/dungeon.htm

I love the use of basic shapes in this kit. The simple and quick painting scheme gives the set a good visual apeal without being too time consuming with carving.
