I need to preface this by saying that I'm probably the world's worst photographer. Other than that, I think I'm a pretty crafty fellow. I thought I'd share my current work-in-progress project: I enjoy sculpting, so I have a lot of oil clay laying around. I decided to mold some small 2x2 blocks and tiles to see if I could cast up some cheap 3d dungeon pieces. Everything went fairly smoothly, even if I did wind up rushing a lot of the casts or paint jobs because of a tight work schedule. I'll probably sculpt/mold/cast off a few more new pieces along with a few dozen more of the ones I've all ready made. The goal is to have a very simple and modular system to build dungeons last minute. Oh, and my pipe cleaner trees: Those little trees are a lot of fun to make and really look much better in person. It's also likely that they'd look better if photographed by a chimpanzee with a ten year old cellphone; but I lack the chimpanzee necessary to gain evidence.

Nice stuff, I usually craft my dungeons and tiles out of cardboard and save my sculpting skills and time for set pieces.

Nice looking. I see where you are going with this also. Take more time to make it now but you will be able to change it around as needed so in the long run less time will be spent in making each encounter. When you are working with a limited amout of time you need to find the best way that works for you to get the most of of you play time.

Nice stuff, I usually craft my dungeons and tiles out of cardboard and save my sculpting skills and time for set pieces. Thank you. I love your stuff. I found your Youtube channel last month and all ready have a half dozen cardboard pieces. You're like a DM MacGyver though. "Today I'm going to show you guys how to make an alter to the Elder Gods using nothing but a broken clothes pin, a hot glue gun, and some neat paint tricks." Thanks, Billy! The older I get, the harder it is to gather everyone up to play. A lot of our games happen in short notice, so being able to throw something together that's different from any of our last games is really nice. I don't always run the game either, so this was the best solution I could come up with.
