What might you use to make a shiny polished ground, almost mirror-like and smooth... like you might seen in some fabulous palace throne room?
I'm going to make some modular retro-scifi spaceship interiors for GRUNTZ and want a sort of art deco feel to them... which to my way of thinking includes smooth shiny floors. I thought about putting down sheets of clear acetate over a prepared/painted surface... but fear that might look dodgy.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks!

I would just paint on water base gloss varnish. You can get it at any home improvement store. One coat for a glossy look and two for super glossy. The nice thing about the water base is that the brushes clean up with soap and water.

I ran across a mirror like sheet of paper that peeled off and stuck to whatever after u cut to fit. I used it for a mirror of soul traping hidden inside a treasure. U should be able to find at a hobbie store pretty cheat. I paid around 1.50 for 10 sheets
