Hi guys,
I´m starting to craft and I notice that the Acrylic paint is much more expensive than gouache in my country (Brazil). Should I use gouache for painting? Anyone tried this? (sorry about my english)
thanks,
Erick

Don't know why they would not work. You could alway check the internet for Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint and see if you can order them online some place.

There may be some differences in the way the paint works, blends, or what-have-you, but these should be minor. Unless you are a full blown artist than the actual minor differences in the materials shouldn't be a concern. I would be concerned primarily with how it interacts with the cardboard and the usage that the tiles give. However, there may be some potential for you to get a paint sealant for cheap that will help lock in the paint effect you have going.
So, in short, I'd say give it a try and see if it works for you.

The gouache that I can find here ins´t very strong, I need to paint more than two layer to get a brighter collor. I didnt tried the Acrylic yet, becouse it´s really expensive. But I´ll try to make with both and post here ASAP.
Thanks again!

Gouache is not very similar to acrylic at all. It is not nearly as opaque and does not remain solid when dry. Any water will re-activate the dried paint, making it liquid again.
