I wanted to included some for of siege weapon in one of my scenarios, but the cheapest item I could find was an arcane ballista for $11.99 + shipping, so I decided to make my own. This ballista was made from 9 toothpicks, 1 tongue depressor, about 3 inches of crafting foam, glue, and some paint. All items I had laying around the house. Attachments:

You know I have a YouTube channel... I should really use it to make some how-to videos of my stuff, lol. Anyways, the furnace/hearth is made from foam (The kind with all the little balls in it. You can find a ton of it behind the drywall in your house! Or, if you don't feel like knocking down your walls, you can get sheets of it for really cheap at a hardware store.) I simply made it in two parts, a top piece and a bottom piece. I cut the shapes I wanted out of the foam with an Exacto Knife, and glued the two pieces together.

Dude, that looks great!! The crumbling throne looks nice, as well as the hearth. I don't know if i could make the books so tiny.....it would frustrate me! Good Job

I love it! I think my favorite was the books. Very clever material to use.

Thank you. I love the books too. I always try to find excuses to build more. Maybe I'll make a dungeon in a library!

Whoa! That's brilliant! My next dungeon is going to be a mansion and I'm definitely adding a library.

This time our heroes needed to make a stop at the item shop. The weapon rack is based on DMScotty's "Craft a Spear Trap | EP 15" video. All the tools and weapons are made from toothpicks. The silver (mugs) are little plastic beads that the kid tends to leave in between our couch cushions. You've already seen the books, and I thought the miniature dice was a nice added touch.... Maybe chariots and siege weapons had rear view mirrors that needed decorating, lol. Attachments:

Troll dice? well... in our fantasy world, creatures come in many sizes, from tiny little fairies to monolithic dragons. And they mostly all are self aware and display basic motor skills, so of course, Monopoly would have to be available in many different sizes to accommodate the extensive marking value of all the species..... Ask a stupid question, get a highly intelligent, thought out answer. DMing is fun But, for reals, the dice I used were included in the 'Pirates Pocketmodel Game' booster packs by Wizkids. I needed something else to put on the table and said, "Why not dice! Everybody loves dice!" I probably have about fifty of them. It's always fun to roll one in the middle of a game and hear all the WTFs from everybody.

How are the books made? They look really good. I need to make a bunch of little things like that for 'set dressing' for general encounters and this gives me a lot of ideas. Thanks!

I saw a video on You Tube about taking old magazines and using the to create books. Basic instructions, you cut the spine plus a little of the magazine off, slicing through all of the pages so that you end up with a thin long sheaf of paper and binding. Then you cut the spine into shorter pieces to actually form the books, paint them and you're done. Mini Books

Okay, I'm getting too many requests on how to make these books. So if Scotty doesn't beat me too it *cough cough siege weapon cough* sorry, something in my throat. I'll try to upload a how-to video when I get the time. Give me a week.
