Basic premise of the tile is that this is a room of the dungeon that was built over a natural underground stream. Some powerful cold based entity has moved in and claimed this dungeon room as its own. Its cold aura has frozen over most of the room and covered it in snow over the years. It is now in a cocoon of snow and ice on a ledge at the back of the room and has been there for untold years in hibernation. Goblins have recently moved into the dungeon and have taken up to worshiping this unknown being, including making sacrifices to it with a ritual alter. Tile Snow covered ice bridge Cocoon and minions Tile in action The snow piles in the room and on the bridge were made using basic elmer's glue and flocking a nice pile of Baking soda onto the glue. I let it dry overnight then brush off the baking soda with a dry paint brush. Then I paint-washed and dry-brushed various shades of blue and white onto the baking soda piles. The ice formations were made from Christmas decorations with plastic poker chips as a base. The cocoon is a poker chip with a ball of aluminum foil on it. The foil was decorated with hot glue and chunks of of a candle cut up and glued to the foil and base in various places then painted. I love the room. Thanks so much for sharing. Great idea with the baking soda. You could also use play sand for the snow piles. Nice idea using the poker chips as bases. The poker chips will create a nice strong base.

This is a great idea. I love how you worked the theme in and made it fun at the same time.
I also liked the idea of using the plastic poker chips. Nice.
Well Done.

Awesome build. I am going to have to find those ice crystals at the dollar store. The baking soda works great for snow.

Now THAT'S how snow should look, awesome! I think I'll have to have a rethink for my snowy clearing...

This stuff is awesome. definitely going to use the baking soda idea if my PCs take a certain route on the campaign. Think mountaintop battles with ice trolls, frost giants, ice drakes and white dragons

Great looking snow. I especially liked the look of the bridge - that's definitely going to call for athletics and/or acrobatics checks
