Just want to know is it the Liquitex Flexible Modeling Paste or the Liquitex Modeling Paste or the Light Modeling Paste that most use ?

light is good for pretty much the same exact thing except that it is more rigid (will crack more easily) when dried, but FAR lighter, so use flexible unless weight is an issue (it really shouldn't be for your purposes).

light is also far more expensive per volume, not just per weight.

I have used all of their products. String, included for natural "pooling" effects. It also runs nicely down vertical surfaces and still leaves a trail.

They make a product called "string gel". Like all their products acrylic paint can be mixed with it. It is fairly thin, self leveling and like I said, runs down vertical surfaces leaving a trail. Blood pools, slime and whatever else you want.

Just a suggestion, we should link to some of these specific products so that new people can find them quickly. So as we discuss String Gel they can look at the site etc to learn more. Just a thought.

light and flexible modelling pastes come in very similar containers, be absolutely sure you have the right jar. Ask me how I know that.
