Very nice, everything looks great! I love the idea of a halloween game, and that you got to use the worm. A one off game each year also sounds fun because you can find entertaining ways to kill them without remorse. Surviving would be a surprise, and I can imagine some really horrifying, or hilarious, ways for your yearly victim to be killed.

It was a two day event for us, the first day a friend ran a game in which we fought former World of Warcraft characters. We had a collection of people from 3 different play groups, and what had been started as a once a year thing, looks like we will be doing it every couple months.
Its sorta sponge painted, its Scotty's road method.

For whatever reason construction sand does not exist within 50 miles of me at ANY store. So I tried rock salt...some kind large rockish salt. It did not glue the best to the base of my blood worm, the rest turned out real well. So long story, dont try salt.

Construction sand is often called something like "general use" sand. You should be able to get it at the big box hardware stores.

Coincidentally, my Saturday game sort of turned out to be a halloween game itself, just because of where the campaign currently is. The PCs finally fought the flesh golem I made in Vandomar's tower, and though I really hoped that they would make it to the watchtower for some real Lovecraftian horror, a late start cut us short. Still pretty good timing I thought.

Looks like this once a year deal has become an every other month gig. I wont be running delves everytime (I need time as a player too). My next one I think will be a cthulu game as most havent played anything like it.

Every time I see a Purple Worm... I am absolutely amazed. I never would have imagined such a thing could be made by non-sculptors, to look so good -- no offense to anyone. Making monsters is easier than I ever imagined. That terrain looks fantastic, as well. Cheers!

There are no non-sculptors here. Crafting is a type of sculpting. The tiles that show up here are works of art in their own right. I see people asking what to do with the tiles they have made between use. How to store them. Hang them from your walls. Most are fairly flat. Imagine a game room decorated by those great memories. Definately art in my book.

Personally I like the idea of hanging them on the walls....my wife on the other hand probably would have different ideas
