If you are going to get your modern gaming on... Don't get your cars at Walmart - get them at Walgreens. They have the scale you want for standard 28-30mm models: 2013-02-25 21.58.19 by JJMS313, on Flickr I solo game occasionally, so paper models are perfect - just front and back. Here is another picture of my newest 15mm project which is even easier: ATZ example by JJMS313, on Flickr I picked up that car at the local grocery store. Walgreens has cars for under $1 too.

In addition to the D&D game system board games, I'm also playing Zombicide. All of my crafting efforts go towards one or the other. I'd LOVE to see examples of modern stuff I could use for Zombicide. There is so much creative talent on this site for me to steal from!

Pretty sure these are 1:43 scale. I grabbed a couple of these at Freds. Although its hard to find soccor mom type vehicles like im looking for. I wanted my street to have Pickup Trucks, vans, 4 door sedans etc.
That storage pod looks amazing with the graffti could be easily made with cardboard correlation.

I prefer mundane vehicles as well- and they are 1:43. Walgreen's sells them cheap. I have found some nice mundane vehicles, and you just have to keep your eyes out.
