Hi everyone, Here are a few shots of an ankheg tunnel entrance tile. I liked painting it even if the blend from cocoa at the tile's rim to chocolate at its hub wasn't as smooth as I envisioned. Oh well, remember how you get to Carnegie Hall, (practice, practice, practice). Top view: Oblique: Oblique with ankheg and Groo for scale: Happy crafting!

Really nice! Great highlight work on the stones & ridges. I also like the darkened path leading up to the hole and the space in the rubble around the entrance - nice detail there. Looks like somebody dragged a cow home for a late night snack or something. Go get 'im Groo!

That's a little disturbing... Reminds me a lot of "Men in Black". If you can find a toy insect model, cut in half, to mount rising out of the hole, so much the more disturbing! Buy two insects: one emerging, one on the surface, ready to chase down its next meal... Cheers [Shudder... Reaches for can of "Raid" insecticide.]
