Below are a few props which were inspired or shamelessly duplicated versions of the work of crafters on the forums. Apologies in advanced for the less than professional photo quality. In any case, I wanted to share a few of the props that these forums inspired.
The Collapsed Tunnel
Since most of my tunnels and corridors are 6.5cm across, with a roughly 5cm interior width, this rubble pile was made so that a collapse could be created anywhere within. It seems plain, just over 6.5cm across made of polystyrene and pink foam insulation chunks, hot glue, white glue, and sand. The little trick to this is that the rubble is based on card stock so that it will rest close to the surface of the walls, while a 4.75cm chunk of cardboard rests under that. The rubble was glued all the way down to the floor level, covering the edge of the cardboard, and it is only visible when viewed from the sides. This way, the thicker card base rests in the hall, while the remaining chunks overlap the walls. I don't have an image of it in a hallway, but I can assure you, it looks fairly seamless. You can just barely tell that the outside edges don't touch the table.
The Gelatinous Cubes
Made in the same manner as the other forum post and the DM's Craft video, it's a cube. I need to get more gloss on them, and they are painted green just because the clear version looks a little unfinished to me. Unfortunately, I was rushed and they are not quite what I had envisioned. They definitely need more gloss. These were used in conjunction with the collapsed tunnel rocks to form a bit of a trap.
Darkearth Tentacles
These are similar to the fleshy pseudopods, except that the central evil in my campaign is the Darkearth titan and the cult trying to resurrect him. There are good and evil titans, positive and negative energy mixed with the elements, so Darkearth is the negative earth element. Anyway: These tentacles have a wire armature, caulk base, glued to small washers. The bits of pink foam rock were then glued to them, and some sand white glued to them to give them some grit. Several washes and dry brushes later, and you have the Darkearth Weird; an earth elemental tentacle that can sap life with negative energy and drive adventures to madness.
