1:64 scale farm animals are pretty close to scale for standard RPG fig sizes if you need farm animals in an encounter these animals work great. I got all the animals pictured in one set that I think was like $15. This set was also pre painted so no painting required. My PCs were trying to stop some Ogres that were on a food rampage and one of the Ogres threw a cow at a PC...lol. Attachments:

Hobby Lobby has the Toobz that are also pretty close to scale and are also painted. Hobby lobby should pay me commisions.

If you are looking for a ratio model scale counter part to 25, 28 or 30mm scale these would be 1/64, 1/58 and 1/54, respectively. There are not a lot of models that do fall in this range. Google (scale size) model "the thing you are looking for" to see if you can find it.

I've been toying with using "Army Men" sized toy action figures since they are much cheaper than buying gaming minis. That and paper counters. Only problem is, I've found a Cowboys and Indians Set, a Medieval Battle Set, and Pirate Set, all at the same scale. What is not present is monsters and what not. However, you can get animals in that same scale easily enough.
