Aside from making a Balor (which involves wings.. large wings..), I have been modifying miniatures to better match the player characters.. So here we have Alain, cleric of the trade and commerce god, Evolo. He has swanky golden vestments now.. Then we had a shortage of decent Minotaur miniatures, so I grabbed a Bugbear and transformed it with horns and hooves, into Jakx, the Minotaur Rune Priest (with greatsword). And finally, Foruul is a Kobold Monk, and since the player likes to make gestures with the Kobold's 'Neck Frills', I added some.. they are VERY SMALL.. Together with Tipsi, the Gnome Psion and Drew, the Half Elf Druid, they are The Tuesday Night Adventuring Party (we need to get a better name).. I can't go into detail about the Dungeon/Ruin they are facing this Tuesday, but I can show the terrain for the entrance area, and the map I adapted it from.. As you can see, I hate painting terrain as the spray paint stinks up the table, but I will be experimenting with printing off terrain with a colour printer (on recycled office paper) and sticking it to the tiles. For this dungeon I happened to have some really handy, scrap packing material that was already very dungeon room looking, so I really just cut stuff out and glued it all together. I'll add some more details after its all over, and explain all the mind bendingly fiendish traps I added to it.

Two things:
1) What's up with Alain's face?!? 2) What did you use to sculpt the add-ons?
Thanks.

Alain's face was fairly featureless to start with, I never really liked it on the mini, so covering it a bit with the hood was an improvement, also, sunglasses on a D&D mini? In the end, another player bought a really good miniature for that character, so the custom Alain never got to see any actual play.
The sculpture for the add ons was all done with Grey Stuff polymer putty, one of these days I have to make a video showing how I work with that stuff.. the sword for the minotaur is just a bit of scrap plastic from a miniature set's sprue, carved with a box cutter, glued on and painted.
