The game I'm currently running is set in a Waterdeep-esque city on the trade routes to several different continents, so my players will inevitably encounter some distinct dungeon formats. The key ones I'm working on are Sewers, Jungle, Egyptian and Norse.
With the popularity of Skyrim I'm drawing inspiration for the Norse dungeons from it, and one of the primary things you encounter in a Nordic Skyrim dungeon was large burial urns, inevitably containing some goodie. I figure a similar technique could be used for large Egpytian urns and possibly wicker baskets in the Jungle theme.
Unfortunately I have yet to come across a way to make good looking Urns of any sort. I won't lie for most of my dungeon furniture I tend to turn to Ebay, as I prefer to focus on tiles myself, but even that source hasn't helped much.
Any suggestions, tips or advice to acquire or make Urns?

Check out the wooden beads, and balls, at your local hobby store. Michael's, here in the USA, has numerous different types, and shapes, of wooden beads and such. Cheers!

I could see those for small ones, do they have ones sufficient for larger urns? I'm thinking those big burial urns..

I have seen large wooden beads, easily similar in size to minis meant to represent PCs. You will most likely have to alter the bead to get the exact result you are looking for as the ones I have seen tend to be barrel or keg shaped.

I forget if they're the woodsies brand, but there is a bag of large (for 28mm scale that is) wooden urn/pot-like craft pieces at Wal-mart in the arts & crafts section surprisingly near the fabric & sewing machines not the wood crafts (well at the stores here in the North East anyway) it's a clear bag with a paper tag you get 3 half inch high urns & 3 inch/inch & a quarter urns for about $2.50 ... You might also get lucky with those over-sized wooden beads for little kids or maybe an old style wooden bobbin, maybe even peruse the hardware stores for finish pieces (for say a knob atop a high backed chair) they might have something useable for your purpose if you can't find the former pieces I mentioned.

I actually paid a visit to the local Michaels today and checked out the beads, really didn't find anything I thought really had the look I was hoping for, but as I was wandering about I happened into the wood burning/working section and pretty much found the perfect thing. 1 in Candle Cups (6 pack) very based vase shape with a slight lip. Looks a lot like a more ancient urn, like the ones you sometimes see in Greek shipwrecks for shipping wine. The other is a 1 in Dowel Cap, comes in a 2 pack but has a much more ornate look with ridges and a fancier lip resembling the kind of urn you'd find in a palace or perhaps later more refined time period.
With a paint job I think they'll be just about perfect.. the scale is a bit larger then desired but I don't think their going to be disruptively large, either. I'm thinking the more basic ones will get a simple straight color with shading, maybe one with a crude drawing. The fancier two will probably get a more elaborate design (maybe some gold in-lay effects)
