Where's the roast hog and venison? The goblets of wine and the buxom serving wenches? lol!
You've done a fine job on the weathering.

Hmmm so many reaper minis, so little space left to store them.. Nice tables Neil, and if they are goblin tables.. a roasted, trussed halfling with an heart in it's mouth would be a fine touch.

I think the green weathering and the ragged edges look fantastic. I've got to say I would be tempted to put some varnish on parts of that table -- like it's kind of slick and slimy and moldy because of all the filth the goblins have been putting on it. But they do look great the way they are!

I like the chair. I like the other things too, but I'm zoomed in on the chair and the scale.
For those looking for scale, it appears that a wooden popsicle/crafting stick may be the perfect dimension for the width of a chair to scale.
The math: My office chair seat is 20 inches across. 1.67 ft. 1 inch / 5 ft. = x in / 1.67 ft x in = 0.334 in
the craft stick is (I think) 3/8 in across, or .375 in. (22 inches at 1in/5ft scale.)
So, it seems that a crafting stick is a comfortable width for a medium-sized mini to scale.
Not sure what made me go on that math tangent. Nice work!

Yea the chair was three quick pieces, cut without measuring, so I could have the fig and the chair to help get the table height right. I did not do the math but it does seem to scale. But I believe craft sticks do come in different sizes. I have seen ones called large size, that seemed closer to the doctors tongue depressor stick size.

I am still kicking myself for missing the BONES Kickstarter....sigh You and me both! And obviously I missed where it said they were goblin tables.....check out some of the Pathfinder We Be Goblins! minis. There are a couple that would be hilarious serving wenches in the set.

Also really bummed that I missed the KS. You can get the vampire package on Ebay for around $200 last time I looked. The We Be Goblins! minis are awesome, maybe the best pre-painted minis I've seen. I noticed you had a few in your sewer.

Perhaps the goblins want to open a semi respectable tavern. The goblins may be tierd of murderous adventurers killing them. Get the characters drunk give them a rest in the dungeon. Better strategy than trying to fight the murder hobo adventurers. Nice bar in the dungeon it could work for goblins.

It has been commented on my chair video that they are not to scale, but I did not mention that they are that size for playability. You can place a mini on them.

Good point the chair I threw together seems like the math supports that it is to scale but I could NOT put a fig on it. I want to start making chairs and both scale and playability are factors.

It would be nice to marry the two styles together a bit. Matchstick legs, but to scale, and maybe have a "special" chair with a piece of clear plastic on the seat for standing. Just a random thought to get both scale and play. Or, just use both kinds. I was thinking of them using chairs as barricades or as projectiles more than standing on, which makes me like "to scale" a little bit more.

Ultimately these items are representative. Scale really does notw come into the aesthetics of it, but rather the playability aspect. My chairs are essential 4ft square seats. A bit over sized, but putting them down as obstacles they reinforce the idea of blockage by being larger.

I love the tables. Not crazy about the chairs. They look like they would get in the way and knocked about too often.
I went with wooden discs to represent chair and stool placement. Minis can just be set on top of them to show seated characters.
Nice tile overall, though. That door is pretty sweet. Where did you pick that up?

The tables look very good on the tile! Have to say though the chairs look a little out of scale. Been having troubles deciding on how to make chairs myself though!

I checked the math, the chairs are to scale!
Some toothpick or matchstick front legs might be the only change I'd make. I like all of them.
Food for thought for those not liking to scale chairs: you could base the table and chair set, making it a single overall obstacle like rubble, rather than individual units. (I think I may be going this route when I get to this project.) That would also make toothpick/matchstick legs more durable since they are glued in place.

You can find them on ebay or other resale places. I don't believe they are making these new right now. I can see the concerns on the chairs but they will do for now.

I checked the math, the chairs are to scale! I have no issue with the scale. I just thought the size was awkward in that they would be light and tip easily. If Neil is happy with them, then I am happy with them. Basing them would certainly help, but basing table and chairs as a unit would be undesireable, in my opinion.

I like it! The chairs could be tipped easy nut that makes for great area denial....not to mention throwing them and bashing with them. Though I do agree with using matchsticks for the front legs, but only in an above ground "human" type bar. Gobbos are gonna use whatever they can get their hands on to make stuff with I seriously am going to go on a hunt for some mage knight doors.... those things are too cool...Wish they'd just start making the sets again...Seems that the true usefulness of stuff like that is only truly discovered after they go out of production....

The mage knight dungeon sets with these doors go for 45 - 60 dollars on e bay. They made some type of add on set that had four doors and some status tokens for 15-20 dollars. I got lucky with this set as it was part of a miniature lot. Thirty minis some other junk partial sprus - the pics were bad so no one was bidding. I saw the mage knight tile and door set (or what I hoped was the set) took a chance and got lucky.
For the chairs the best thing about them for me is they are three cuts from a craft stick - hot glue two places and done. I can make them in about three minutes. I want to set up a tavern brawl or goblins attacking a town during a festival day, so I need a few chairs. If the chairs get beat up damaged or whatever, no big deal, they are cheap and easy (my wife says these are my best qualities).
Have fun

Inches and feet make no sense to me probably because there is no sub measurements that I know of. In school we did a lesson in imperial measurents and then went into metric, the lesson was obviously designed to scaring us into loving metric. 1mm 10mm = 1cm 100mm = 10cm 1000mm = 100cm = 1m 1000000mm3 = 1000cm3 = 1 litre = 1kg (of water)

The metric system is certainly more eloquent and used for sciences here in the states. Not sure why it failed to catch on. I mean our neighbors to the north and south both use metric.

In school we did a lesson in imperial measurents and then went into metric, the lesson was obviously designed to scaring us into loving metric.... I have no love for the imperial system, and when I'm crafting, I do a little of both. I made a spreadsheet to calculate scale in numerous ways, depending on what I'm after, in both formats at the same time. I flip back and forth a lot, but most of the books and materials I have are not listed in metric. In any case, we have those same lessons too, but apparently they don't stick. We just love gallons and feet for some reason.
