Just make a seperate tile for each level of the building. Make them the exact same size, put the stairwells in the same place on both tiles.

I love the ivy. I've had some luck using parsley flakes as ivy (no painting required -- score!)... Lol thats a new one.

Plus flock can be a pain in the butt and it is always falling off =) I actually used flocking first but it just didnt look the way I wanted it to. I wiped it off and used the sand instead.

Kick ass!....what did you use for creepers? I just applied some white glue then poured on coarse sand, base painted it black and then one coat of the green drybrushed on.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The moss is just construction sand that I used to help hide the corrugation, painted green.

I watch every video from start to finish, so they are kind of annoying to me. But I understand why you do it and why some people would like it.

Here are some pics of my ruined temple that I just finished. I really like how it turned out. It has 3 layers, the bottom layer is 20"x20". Hope you like them and thanks for looking. DM Brad

Boiled and curved tongue depressors, cardboard banding. Next one I want to do different width strips to emulate how actual barrels are made and reduce the gaps. The curvature is more pronounced if you allow them to dry while in the curving apparatus (large mug), I failed to do this... Your cork idea is fantastic for smaller vats. You could just carve in the grooves and whittle the edges of the cork itself, then apply cardboard banding... It was a rubber type cork, not easily carve-able. I had a big pile of them in my garage and this is what I came up with to use them instead of throwing them away.

Here is a pic of my keg. It is made with a wine cork that I glued thin strips of card stock around for the boards. The base is just cardboard that I cut to fit the shape of the barrel. Two more strips of card stock for the metal banding. The spout is just card stock that I hot glued to the front.

I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to do secret doors. Obviously they should not be able to be seen on the tiles until after they are discovered.

Here are some pics of my first tiles, I experimented with many of DM Scotty's techniques. These are not set up for play or anything, i just tried to squeeze it all in to one photo. This is an Inn I made inspired by DM Scotty's Town Hall. The wood plank floor turned out pretty good, I might add another color to highlight it a liittle more. I also still need to make a door and some steps for it. I would like to craft some barrels or kegs if anyone has any good ideas on how to do that.
