Ease your load as a DM and delegate more jobs to your players. Have them track monster hit points and combat conditions for you. DM Scotty shows you an easy and elegant solution to make tracking combat easy.

I built one of these and tested it out in my game last night. Worked really well! Previously I'd been using percentile dice next to the miniatures to mark hit points, but that takes up a lot of space on the map, and sometimes dice can get knocked around.

I use both. I use the combat pad to track initiative, and the whiteboard to track HP/conditions.
I tried to find a way to combine both boards, but I don't think it's feasible me. You'd have to track initiative for every creature in the encounter separately. It would also make the HP/condition tracking a pain when initiative order changes due to delayed/readied actions.

I find using 2 boards is the best solution, one for initiative and one for HPs and conditions.

Do you have a file I can download that has all the conditions you used in the video, would save me much time in trying to figure out how to do that myself Already have a magnetic whiteboard and some printable magnetic sheets.

I do and I will try and dig it up. Some of the conditions are character specific to my campaign...have my PCs name on them.
