I was inspired by Dungeons and Dragons Online in which they have a spell called Otto's Dancing Sphere that puts up a Disco ball shaped spell that flashes lights to crowd control the enemies. Felt it was a good way to convey dancing lights to my players in pen and paper. So I Picked up a tube of 16 mirror ball Christmas ornaments from the 1 dollar section at the local Target to make some "Dancing" Lights markers out of. The ornaments are plastic. The cap pulls right off, will probably reuse them as brasiers or trap parts. Cut off the part the cap attaches to and you have a nice Disco Ball shaped spell marker. Glue it to a clear straw or empty ball point pen tube then attach it to a stand and presto Dancing Light. Warning don't use hotglue on these. The heat of the hot glue warps and deforms the ornaments plastic. Elmer's or super glue works fine though.

And if your adventurers ever take refuge in a night club, you're good to go with set pieces! Lol
