Got these at toys'r'us for $10. I was looking for a way to rebase them. They are a bit taller than D&D or MK so I just need to think of a good solution for a monster, Giant skeleton is too big but maybe a goliath skeleton. any suggestions on what they could be? Attachments:

This was my solution to the base. Mage Knight has random monster tokens. They will be used... oh yes they will be. Attachments:

The kruug got rebased and I was trying out some new tiny brushes I bought today. I only did the eyes so I could practice for the dragon. Attachments:

I had a hard time with the banshee eyes, due to the brushes I had, so I've learned today I need a lot of practice. The good thing was the dragon eyes came out good. Attachments:

Looks great. The dragon came out nice. Eyes are hard to do. One thing to remember about eyes is not to make the pupil show white all around it. Makes them look like there in shock. I like to use a flesh wash on the face after I do eyes. It help shrink down the white of the eyes some puts a darker ring around the eyes and some depth to the face.

I put these together on my bed so the tiles are uneven! I put treasure tokens under the ice, still not sure what I'm going to do, I was just trying to hide the cave tiles. These are some of the cave tiles from Legend of Drizzt board game. I posted in traxzwolf's Kobold hall gallery, then realized I made pics for the adventure so I could remember which tiles went where and this shows the glass paper weight I was talking about. This was my solution to the base. Mage Knight has random monster tokens. They will be used... oh yes they will be. one thing I like to do is cut up a thin wooden clipboard(material is called masonite) and sand it into the size base I need- works expessially well for large critters and scenery.

You can get 4'x4' and 4x8 sheets of that at your local big box stores for significantly less, if you have the need for (or space to store) that much material.
